Mexican Party

Another movie night at my sis' place. As she was going through the menu, she mentioned her famous guacamole and Margaritas. As usual, my thoughts rapidly jumped from one place to another and I found always daydreaming about what to wear when I throw a Mexican Night Party!

Just imagine how fun it would be: Brightly colored lanterns, the yummy spices, freshly baked tortillas, lots of flavorful Margaritas and my Cuba Esencial playlist which, to be honest, is the closest I've got to the spirit of the event. Hhhmm, maybe a Goodbye Summer party with a Mexican theme?

If I'm on a roll like this, maybe I should suggest the classic comedy The Three Amigos for the movie tonight. I will just leave you guys with the great guacamole recipe from Bobby Flay. I know how hard it is to find a good one in Istanbul. Cheers!

Bu akşam yeni bir film seyretme partisi ablamda. Menünün üzerinden geçerken meşhur guacamolesi ve Margarita'dan bahsetti. Her zamanki gibi kafamda düşünceler hızlı bir şekilde ordan oraya atladı ve kendimi Meksika Partisi verdiğimde ne giyeceğimi hayal ederken buldum.

Ama ne kadar eğlenceli olabileceğini bir düşünün: Rengarenk fenerler, lezzetli baharatlar, taze fırından çıkmış tortillas, değişik aromalı Margaritalar ve benim Cuba Esencial CD'im, ki doğruyu söylemek gerekirse, bende olayın ruhunu yakalabileyen en yakın müzik.

Bu hevesle akşam klasik komedi Üç Amigo'yu seyretmek için önerebilirim. O yüzden ben sizi en iyisi Bobby Flay'in harika guacamole tarifiyle baş başa bırakayım. İstanbul'da doğru yapılmışını bulmak zor. Şerefe!
