Romantic Rocker and I are off to see the Keith Jarrett concert tonight at the Halic Congress Center, courtesy of Queen Z. The first time I had heard him was through my jazz lovin' uncle who is a huge Miles Davis fan. Years later, I am thrilled to be seeing this Grammy Award winning pianist, who majorly influenced the jazz world with his one of a kind renditions and improvisations.
There are two more equally legendary musicians joining him tonight. Gary Peacock on the acoustic bass and Jack DeJohnette on the drums. Need I say more? Thank you Darling Z!
Bu akşam Queen Z sayesinde Romantic Rocker ile Haliç Kongre Salonu'ndaki Keith Jarrett konserine gidiyoruz. Kendisini ilk defa caz sevdalısı ve büyük Miles Davis hayranı olan dayım sayesinde öğrenip dinlemiştim. Yıllar sonra, caz dünyasını benzersiz yorumları ve doğaçlamalarıyla etkilemiş bu Grammy ödüllü piyanisti görebileceğim için çok heyecanlıyım.
