Wish List: Vespa in the City

 

I've noticed that with everyone being back from vacation, Istanbul has gotten back to its old self, with its over-packed streets and cars, running around wildly as if it were a jungle. These are the times when I really miss strolling around the city with the wonderfully stylish vintage Vespa of DJ G.

I know, I haven't even picked up my driver's license and yet here I am, daydreaming about wearing my heels and helmet, making clever manuveurs in between the stalling cars and waving them goodbye as I speed away to my destination.

In conclusion, a Vespa goes on top of my Wish List.

Farkettim de, herkesin tatilden geri dönmesiyle İstanbul, sokakların insanlar ve arabalarla dolup taştığı, vahşi bir ormanmışçasına koşuşturup durduğu eski haline geri döndü. İşte böyle zamanlarda Dj G.'nin stil sahibi eski model Vespa'sıyle şehirde dolanmayı çok özlüyorum.

Evet, biliyorum. Daha araba ehliyetimi bile almadan, topuklu ayakkabılarım ve kaskımı giymiş, trafiğe takılan arabaların arasından uyanık manevralarla geçerek, gideceğim yere hızla ilerlemenin hayallerini kuruyorum.

Sonuç olarak, Vespa'yı Dilek Listesi'nin baş tacı ilan ediyorum.
