After a busy week of working hard and properly catching up with Queen Z, I am happy to see (finally!) a sunny Friday!
* French singer/actress Soko will be playing at Ghetto tonight! The sweetly profound songs on her first album, I thought I was an Alien, reminds me of the calm, leisurely summer days I used to spend with my ex-husband in Boston. * If you're into photography, there will be a guided tour of the exhibition at Poligon the Shooting Gallery by Markus Schaden on Saturday April 13th at 3 pm.
* I came upon a book on New York Times Bestseller, "Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking" As a natural introvert forcefully turned a semi-extrovert, I'm going to put this book on top of my reading list.
* On Thursday April 18th, a brand new art fair arrives! All Arts Istanbul, which will take place in the Congress Center, focuses its attention on the unique antiquities as well as contemporary pieces from Turkey, Middle East and North Africa.
* Karakoy is becoming one of my favorite places to dine. I might be visiting Unter again for further notes on review. If you haven't explored the area yet, do not shy away from the narrow, dark, industrial streets. When you turn a corner, a fun group of crowded & stylish cafes/restaurants will be surprising you.

Yoğun çalıştığım ve Queen Z ile doğrudürüst özlem giderdiğim bir haftadan sonra, en nihayet güneşli bir Cuma ile karşılaşmak güzel!
* Fransız şarkıcı/oyuncu Soko bu akşam Ghetto'da çalıyor olacak! I thought I was an Alien başlıklı ilk albümündeki tatlı ama bir o kadar derin şarkıları, bana eski kocamla Boston'da geçirdiğim sakin, keyifli yaz günlerini hatırlatıyor. * Eğer fotoğrafçılıkla ilgileniyorsanız, yarın saat 3'de Poligon the Shooting Gallery'de, Markus Schaden rehberliğinde bir sergi turu yapılacak.
* 18 Nisan Perşembe günü yepyeni bir sanat fuarı geliyor! Kongre Merkezi'nde yer alacak olan All Arts İstanbul, Türkiye, Ortadoğu ve Güney Afrika'dan gelen benzersiz antikalarla birlikte, bu coğrafi konumlardan gelen çağdaş parçalara da odaklanıyor.
* New York Times En Çok Satanlar listesinde yeni bir kitaba rastladım. "Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking" Doğal olarak içine kapanıkken zorla yarım-dışa dönük birine dönüştüğümden, bu kitabı okuma listemin başına alıyorum.
* Karaköy, yemeğe gitmek için favori yerlerimden biri oldu.Unter'le ilgili yazacağım yazıya son notlarımı almak için yeniden ziyaret edebilirim. Eğer henüz keşfetmediyseniz, dar, karanlık, sanayici sokaklardan ürkmeyin. Köşeyi döndüğünüzde eğlenceli bir grup kalabalık ve stil sahibi cafe/restoran sizleri şaşırtıyor olacak.
