Today could not have planned any better. I got invited to the Branford Marsalis concert by sis, and turns out Ms. Purple and Ms. Curly, who recently moved back to Istanbul from Dubai, will be attending as well. So we will be meeting before the concert for a fun catching-up time.
And as for the concert, you really must bribe your friends with tickets. Marsalis is joining forces with the Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra to take us on a melodic journey from jazz to funk, from blues to classical rhythms and influences. I can't wait!
Bugün daha iyi planlanamazdı. Ablam bu akşam ki Branford Marsalis konserine davet etti ve meğer Ms. Purple ve Ms. Curly Dubai'den İstanbul'a yeniden taşınan Ms. A de gidiyorlarmış. Böylece konser öncesi keyifle hasret giderebileceğiz.
Konsere gelince, bileti olan arkadaşlarınıza rüşvet vermeyi düşünebilirsiniz. Marsalis güçleri Borusan İstanbul Filarmoni Orkestrası ile birleştiriyor ve bizleri melodik bir yolculuğa çıkartıyor. Jazz'dan funk'a, blues'dan klasik ritm ve ilhamlara.
