Out of exhaustion and loss of perspective from the big move and decorating frenzy, I took a long pause from adding anything to my apartment. Maybe it's the change of the season but I'm beginning to get my momentum back!
One of the missing pieces of the almost finished puzzle that is my home, is the guest room. A blank white wall begging for some color. As I was browsing for some ideas, I came upon the color...black.
With the notion that a dark color will suppress a room, one usually shies away from that palette. However, black is classic. Black can be the perfect background to accentuate the vibrant colors of a painting, or a chandelier or a pillow. Black can add an element of surprise to an otherwise uneventful room. And black will never go out of style. Just think about it....

Nerdeyse tamamlanmış olan yapboz evimin eksik kalan parçalarından biri misafir odası. Boş, beyaz bir duvar. Yalvarıyor biraz renk için. İnternette birkaç fikir gezinirken karşıma çıktı. Siyah.
Koyu renklerin bir odayı bastıracağı düşüncesiyle insan bu renk paletinden genelde çekinir. Ama siyah klasiktir. Siyah, odadaki resim, avize veya yastığın içersinde saklı canlı renkleri ortaya çıkartıp sergileyen bir renk aslında. Pek bir özelliği olmayan bir odaya hoş bir sürpriz katar. Ve siyah, her zaman kalıcı bir stildir. Bir düşünün sadece...
