Winter White Style Trend

      

          

 





 

It's easy to wear all white in the summer. But how about when it rains and snows, when the streets are filled with puddles and an umbrella becomes your best friend? At Fashion Weeks this year, most of our fashion icons, including our very own Ece Sükan, have been spotted wearing all white ensembles, even harmonizing with the snow!

Especially here in Istanbul, wearing white pants or skirts in winter is general frowned upon. When I'm in a particularly stubborn mood however, I like to rebel and break the rules. Putting clothes shouldn't be a tedious routine. Getting dressed is a self-expression. Fashion is a way to feel better when the weather, or your mood for that matter, is dark and gray.

Inspired by these lovely ladies who brought light and glamour to my computer screen in their classy shades of white, I looked through my closet and created a new ensembe, which I wouldn't normally wear and it felt great. So don't shy away and hide under the cloaks of black and gray. Be inspiring by being inspired to try something new.

Yazın beyaz giymek kolay. Peki ya yağmur veya kar yağarken, sokaklar çamur göletleriyle dolup bir şemsiye en yakın dostunuz oluverdiğinde? Bu yılki Moda Hafta'larında sokakları süsleyen ikonlarımız, öz ve öz Ece Sükan'ımız dahil, tamamen beyaz giyerek kara bile uyum sağladılar.  

Özellikle Istanbul nedense kışın beyaz pantolon veya etek giyilmez. T-t t-t. Ama özellikle inatçı bir moduma denk düştüysem, o kurallara karşı gelip çiğnemek hoşuma gidiyor. Sonuçta sabahları giyinmek sıkıcı bir rutin olmamalı. Giyinmek kendini ifade etmektir. Moda, hava ve hatta modumuz karanlık ve gri olduğunda bizi daha iyi hissettiren yollardan biridir.

Bilgisayar ekranıma, sofistike beyaz tonlarıyla ışık ve şıklık getiren bu harika bayanlardan ilham alarak gardrobuma iyice bir göz atıp yeni bir kombinasyon uydurdum. Değişiklik iyi hissettirdi. Siz de çekinip sıkılıp siyah ve gri perdelerin altında saklanmaktan sıkıldıysanız, sürüden farklı birşey denemek için ilham alıp ilham verin.
